Resting Buddha is the first in a new series. Artist Holly Picano is developing a series of artwork that represents her personal experience with Buddhism. Picano wants to express the calming effects of Buddhism within her art, by creating works in earthy calming tones. She hopes in a small way to be able to bring peace into people�s homes with these calming works of art.
These new works of art will be abstract in style and will take the viewer through the noble eightfold path of Buddha teachings that will help individuals live a better life. In general, not to do any evil, to cultivate good and to help people live their lives peacefully.
